One-visit Crowns

We are happy to perform one-visit crowns using CEREC technology. Utilizing advanced imaging and our in-house milling machine, Dr. Rawat can design, create, and place custom-made crowns, inlays, and onlays in a single visit. This expedited process not only saves you from multiple visits, but also from having to wear a temporary crown for a week or more.

Excellent results from a simple process

CEREC restorations require no messy impressions and no lab. After preparing a tooth for repair, we use 3D imaging to capture details in terms of size and shape. The images captured by our software are transferred to the CEREC machine, which mills a precision restoration out of tooth-colored material. In about an hour, the crown, inlay, or onlay will be ready for placement.

The fact that CEREC crowns are convenient does not imply that they may not be an excellent choice for long lasting results. Studies on this process show us that the in-house milling of restorations can actually achieve longevity not found in standard crown treatment. Many patients treated with CEREC restorations continue enjoying full function after decades of wear. This may be due to the precision fit achieved with advanced software or the use of metal-free, stain-resistant ceramic.
